Overview
PHP Everyday is a static website. It does not run server-side code when you visit a page, does not maintain user sessions, and does not require you to create an account. This policy explains what data the site collects (very little) and how it is handled.

What the site collects
Server logs
PHP Everyday is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes HTTP requests and may collect standard access log information as part of its infrastructure. This includes:
- IP address (used for routing and security)
- Requested URL
- Browser user agent string
- Referrer header
- Timestamp
This data is handled by Cloudflare under their own privacy policy and data processing terms. PHP Everyday does not separately store or process server logs.
Analytics
The site does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party analytics scripts at this time. If analytics are added in the future, this policy will be updated before that change goes live.
Cookies
PHP Everyday does not set any first-party cookies. The site does not use session cookies, tracking cookies, or preference cookies.
Cloudflare may set cookies related to bot detection and DDoS protection (typically named __cf_bm or similar). These are functional cookies required for the hosting infrastructure to work correctly. They do not track you across sites.
Client-side search
The search feature on this site works entirely in your browser. When you use search, the site loads a JSON index file from the same domain and filters it locally using JavaScript. No search queries are sent to any external service. No search history is stored anywhere.
Contact information
If you send an email to the contact address listed on the contact page, the contents of that email are stored in a standard email inbox. Email addresses are used only to reply to your message. Contact information is not added to any mailing list, shared with third parties, or used for marketing purposes.
What the site does not do
To be explicit about common concerns:
- No user accounts. There is no registration, login, or profile system.
- No advertising. The site does not serve ads and does not participate in any advertising network.
- No third-party tracking scripts. No Google Analytics, no Facebook tracking pixel, no Hotjar, no Mixpanel. Nothing.
- No third-party fonts or CDNs. Fonts and JavaScript are self-hosted. Loading a page does not trigger requests to Google Fonts, Unpkg, cdnjs, or any external CDN.
- No social media widgets. There are no embedded tweets, Facebook like buttons, or social sharing scripts. These typically load tracking code even when you do not interact with them.
- No newsletters or mailing lists. The site does not collect email addresses through forms on the website itself.
Data retention
Since the site does not collect personal data directly, there is no personal data to retain or delete. If you have sent an email to the contact address and want that email deleted, just ask and it will be removed.
Cloudflare’s infrastructure logs are governed by Cloudflare’s retention policies, which are outside PHP Everyday’s control.
Third-party services
The only third-party service involved in delivering this site is:
Cloudflare Pages - Hosts the static site files and serves them over their CDN. Cloudflare processes requests as described in their privacy policy. PHP Everyday has no access to raw Cloudflare traffic data beyond what Cloudflare’s dashboard surfaces (aggregate page views, bandwidth, etc.).
No other third-party services are used at this time.
Children’s privacy
The site does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Since the site does not collect personal information from anyone (beyond voluntary email contact), this is effectively a non-issue, but it is worth stating.
Changes to this policy
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL (/privacy/) with a revised “Last reviewed” date. Significant changes will be noted on the changelog.
The site will not begin collecting new types of personal data without updating this policy first.
Your rights
If you are in the EU, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with data protection laws:
- Access and deletion. You can request a copy of any personal data associated with you, or ask for it to be deleted. In practice, the only personal data PHP Everyday might have is an email you sent, which can be deleted on request.
- Opt out. Since the site does not track you, there is nothing to opt out of. If analytics are added in the future, an opt-out mechanism will be provided.
